Last weekwnd I went to Beijing for an informal exhibition with Tozer, organized by Cang Xin. We stayed in his lofty studio, located in a remote but beautiful area where is surrounded by trees.

Back to the pond


Back to the first fish pond that I ever visited for this project, I got this very typical view of the industrialization of the city. Recycled container used as storage for the fishmen with a backdrop of Shenzhen's skyscrapers.

Pan's Labyrinth

Just saw it yesterday. Only thought to have some entertainment for the holiday but found it so intriguing afterwards. Kind of melancholic and full of violence in certain aesthetic expressions. That reminds an old Spanish (or Mexican) movie "Holy Blood". I don't analyse but really get a awesome sense from it. It's a small subversion of the mainstream in the mainstream!
